Manage ACH Authorizations

The Manage ACH Authorizations page lets you review and manage authorization rules.

Create ACH Authorization

Use this button to create a new ACH authorization rule by opening the Create Authorization rule page.

Search

To quickly locate a rule, enter the rule name and/or the receiving account identified in the rule in the Account field, and click Search.

When searching by rule name, you can use the asterisk (*) wildcard character to represent any combination of letters or numbers.

Advanced Search

Allows you to search using multiple search criteria

These column check boxes enable you to quickly perform the same action on multiple items in the list, such as to delete several expired rules at one time.

Rule Name

Click the Rule Name link to display one of these pages:

Edit ACH Authorization Rule – Appears if the Status is:

  • Active
  • Not Accepted
  • Pending Approval
  • Rejected
  • Submitted

View ACH Authorization Rule – Appears if the Status is:

  • Deleted
  • Expired
  • Sent
Account Number

If multiple accounts are identified in the rule, the More link appears. If you click this link, the Edit ACH Authorization Rule page appears.

Originating Company / Originating Company ID

Indicates whether to apply the authorization rule to all companies or a single company:

All indicates that the authorization rule applies to all originating companies.

If the authorization rule applies to a specific originating company, the company name and company ID appear.

Effective Date / Expiration Date

The date the authorization rule starts

If applicable, the date the authorization rule expires

Status

This column displays the current status of the rule.

Transaction Type

The transaction type to which the rule must apply

The options are:

  • Credit and debit
  • Credit only
  • Debit only
Amount

Indicates whether to apply the rule to all transactions or specific transaction amounts:

All indicates that the authorization rule applies to all transactions.

If the authorization rule applies to a single amount or amount range, the single transaction amount or amount range appears.

Action

The only action option is edit.

Click Edit to display the Edit ACH Authorization Rule page where you can modify a rule.

If the Status is Deleted or Expired, the Edit button does not appear. You cannot edit a deleted or expired rule.

Approve
Reject
Delete

The buttons that appear depend on your entitlements and whether the feature is configured in Class of Service for dual authorization. Possible buttons are:

  • Approve/Reject – For items that are in Pending Approval status, these buttons enable you to approve or reject the rule. These buttons appear only dual authorization is in effect.
  • Delete – Click this button to display a preview page for confirming the delete action.
