Edit Account Access

Account access defines the level of access a user has to each of the company accounts.

Filter

This area helps to search for users.

From the list, select any or none of these options:

  • Show All (default)
  • Account Nickname
  • Account Number

In the search field, enter the criteria you want to use, and click the magnifying glass icon. The search results appear on the page.

Customize

Use this column to select account to define custom access. You can select up to five accounts at a time, and the account must have the Customer Access option selected. After you have selected the accounts, click the Set Custom Access button to set custom access definitions.

Note: If you select more than five accounts, the Set Custom Access button is disabled. You will not be able to edit any of the accounts.
Account Nickname

The nickname defined for the company account

Account Number

The account number

No Access

No access to the corresponding account is given

Custom Access

Enables you to define a custom level of access to the account

If you want the user to have access to an account, but not access to all the features, select this option.

When selected, you must use the check box in the Customize column to select the account, and then click Set Custom Access to define the custom access definitions for the account.

Full Access

Entitles the user to all available functions for the account

Custom Access Status

Indicates whether you have set custom access to an account where the Custom Access option is selected

The status is updated after you click Save. If you have defined the custom settings, Custom access set (in green) is displayed, if you have not defined the custom access, Custom access NOT set (in red) is displayed.

Available Tasks

  • If you have not customized any of the user's access to accounts (all account options are either No Access or Full Access), click Save to save your changes and return to the Entitle User page.
  • If you customized any account access (any account option is Custom Access), click Set Custom Access to customize the account access. The Set Custom Options section is added to the page.
