Create a Colombia Giro Payment
Use this page to create a Colombia Giro Payment. Enter, select, or review the following information as indicated.
Payment Information
Field/Option | Description |
---|---|
Payment Account | The account used in the transaction. |
Payment Account Identifier | An additional identifier for selected payment account. Applies to Tax recipients. |
Payment Date | The date the payment will be originated. |
Frequency | How often the payment will be made.
For single, non-recurring payment, select One Time Only. For recurring payments, select
Recurring, and make a selection for each of the following options:

Recipients
Field/Option | Description |

Select Existing | Click to display the Master Recipient List. You can select recipients from this list. |
Create New | Create a recipient not saved in the Master Recipient List. Click Create New to display the overlay where you can create a new recipient for the payment. The new recipient can be saved to the Master Recipient List. |
Import From File | Click to display the Import Recipient overlay, where you can select an import profile. |
Filter | Use to search for a subset of the available data. From the list, select one or more of the options available for selection:
The Filter option will not appear if there are no existing Recipients. |
The following items automatically display information based on the selected payment Recipient and do not require user action. | |
Recipient Name | Column showing the names of the payment recipients.
Note: Recipient names display as a hyperlink to the Edit Recipient page.

Recipient ID - ID Type | Identifier for the payment Recipient. |
Payor Branch ID | Identifier for the Payor Branch. |
Branch Name | Name of the branch associated with the Payor Branch ID. |
Amount | Enter the payment amount. |
Status | Select an item from the following list to label the status of each payment:
Use the Set All function to quickly change all of the recipient transactions to the same status with one of the following options:

Payment Type | Select type of payment. Options are:
This data is populated from the Recipient List or by manual entry when creating a new recipient. |
Transaction Reference | Identifier selected by the payment originator. |
Authorized Third Party | Select to add up to five authorized individuals to pick up the Giro on behalf of the Recipient.
Required for Corporate as Recipient Category. Additional fields will display to enter information about each third party:

Days to Expiration | Number of days in the future, as configured by your institution, until the payment expires. Default is 60 days. |
Expiration Date | Calculated date that payment will expire. Equal to Payment Date plus Days to Expiration. |
Add Recipient Advising | Click hyperlink to enter delivery details and additional information for the recipient. A Recipient Advising overlay will display where you can enter a maximum of 400 characters. |
Remove | Click the red X icon to delete the corresponding recipient and cancel payment to that recipient. |
Active Recipient Total | Number of recipients in the Recipients table that are in Active status.
Continually updates as recipients are added or removed from the Recipients table. |
Payment Amount (for Active recipients) | Sum of payment amounts for all Active status Recipients.
Continually updates as payment amounts are added or removed from the Recipients table. |
Hold Recipient Total | Number of recipients in the Recipients table that are in Hold status.
Continually updates as recipients are added or removed from the Recipients table. |
Payment Amount (for Hold recipients) | Sum of payment amounts for all Hold status Recipients.
Continually updates as payment amounts are added or removed from the Recipients table. |
