Create Alert
The Create Alert overlay enables you to define a new alert based on account activity or according to a schedule. The information required for an alert depends on the alert type.
- You need to be entitled to create or edit alerts.
- Some of the fields only apply to one specific alert type. These specialized fields are indicated in the field description.
- Account

From the list select the specific account or accounts the alert applies to, or select All Accounts to display the entire list (if available)
- Alert Type

Display only field that shows the type of alert selected from the list
- Amount

The account balance amount that you want to trigger the alert when the account reaches this maximum or minimum balance.
Note: The amount is in the selected account's currency. - Days Before Expiration

This field only applies to Password Expiration alert.
It is the number of days (3, 5, or 7) before the password expiration date that this alert starts to appear.
- Decision Status

For the Positive Pay ACH Decision Status, one of these status options appears:
- No Action
- Authorization Revoked
- Credit Entry Refused
- Duplicate
- Not Authorized Amount
- Not Authorized Debit
For the Check Positive Pay Decision Status, one of these status options appears:
- Pay
- Return fraud
- Return other
- No decision
- Pay and add Issue
- Return Dispute
- Return Unauthorized
- Deliver To

The alert is always delivered to your Inbox.
To set additional delivery options, click the check box for a delivery option in the Name column.
Security alerts must be sent to at least one active delivery option outside of the Web Inbox.
- EFD File Status

This field only applies to the EFD File Status alert.
Select the EFD file status from the list.
- Exception

This field only applies to the EFD File Status alert.
Select one of these options:
- Exception – You only see this alert if an exception (EFD failure) occurs
- No Exception – You only see this alert if no exception (EFD failure) occurs. The alert indicates zero (0) exceptions.
- Both – You see this alert whether or not an exception (EFD failure) occurs. If no exception occurred, the alert indicates zero (0) exceptions.
- Frequency

Indicates the alert's presentation schedule
Options are as follows:
- Weekly – Select a day of the week.
- Monthly – Select a day of the month.
- Yearly – Select a month and a day of the month.
- Item Status
- This option applies to the Positive Pay ACH Exception Item Status alert.
Select one of these item status options:
- Open
- Pending Approval
- Scheduled
- Sent - Item Returned
- Sent - Item Paid
- Defaulted - Item Returned
- Defaulted - Item Paid
The Item Status field options available in the Create Alert overlay are determined by the configuration in SAM.
- Notify When
- Select when to have an alert sent.
You can request an alert when exceptions exist, when no exceptions exist, or in both instances.
- Payment Method

This field only applies to the Payment Status alert.
Select the payment type from the list.
- Rule Status
-
This field only applies to ACH Authorization Rule alert.
One of these rule status options:
- Pending Approval
- Submitted
- Active
- Not Accepted
- Expired
- Status

Select the status from the list.
- Template Status
-
This field only applies to the Template Status alert.
- Type Codes
-
This field only applies to Transaction alert.
Select the All Codes option or choose either of the following:
- Detail Type Codes
- Summary or Status Type Codes
Your choice changes the list contents from which you choose the type code.
